Cambridge for Beginners!

- S4 or S5 Scotland
- Yr12 or Yr13 Northern Ireland?
- An international equivalent?

Are you thinking about an application for an undergraduate course at Cambridge University, but not confident that you know what's involved?

This is an introductory session for students from all backgrounds - if we ask how much you already know about Cambridge on a scale of 1-10 and your answer would be 4 or less, this one is for you! It is designed for those who have not already attended a Cambridge / Oxbridge talk, and we will cover the basics and give you information about next steps for applying.

ABOUT THE WEBINAR

This session will last 90 minutes (it's quite a long session) and there will be time for questions after. The first 45 mins will cover student life, colleges, teaching and how the university works, and the second 45 mins will be about the application process and how to make a competitive application. After the webinar all attendees will receive a follow-up email with helpful links for further research.

Please forgive the patronising title!! - we're just keen to be clear that this webinar is introductory.

1. If you're a student from outside the UK, this session won't have additional info for international students (though you're still welcome) so please also book onto one of our international webinars:

2. The session works for all undergraduate courses Cambridge offers but NOT the Foundation Year (https://tinyurl.com/foundation-year). Info will be wrong if you're interested in the Foundation Year so to avoid confusion please don't attend.
